Hi! I’m Kali, an online educator and tutor who loves making learning engaging, interactive, and confidence-building. I enjoy incorporating games, visuals, movement, real-life examples, and students’ individual interests into lessons. I work with learners of different ages, personalities, and learning styles, and I especially enjoy helping students discover that subjects they once found frustrating can actually become enjoyable and manageable.
Experience
I have 8+ years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families in education and tutoring. I teach reading and literacy, writing, elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra and algebra foundations, ESL, and homeschool support. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and provide structured literacy instruction in phonics, decoding, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, morphology, and reading comprehension. I also have extensive experience adapting instruction for students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences. My lessons are individualized to identify skill gaps, strengthen foundational skills, and build student confidence.
