I am a passionate reader and writer who loves to learn! I spend my free time with my two cats, reading, watching my favorite sci fi shows, and creating collages and miniatures.
Experience
I have an MFA in Creative Writing and five years of experience teaching at tutoring writing at the college level, particularly as a consultant at the PSU Writing Center. I have completed undergraduate courses and fieldwork in Elementary and Special Education, as well as Early Childhood Development and Studio Art. I also have experience as a preschool teacher, and have worked with children of all ages in a variety of capacities throughout my life. I grew up on a summer camp, and was homeschooled myself all the way through high school, so I have a lot of experience with what it takes to keep kids engaged and learning at home!
