Hi, my names Angelica de Jesus. I'm 24 years old, Filipino-American, and currently working as a Transportation Engineer. I graduated from Seattle University in 2018 with a Civil Engineering degree and have since been working for the Washington State Department of Transportation. I love my job, however I have decided that teaching and helping the younger generation is a lot more fulfilling to me than making a stable income from an office job. Before my engineering career, I was a private tutor for middle/high school students and I enjoyed using my academic skills to help them through the struggling times of school (and now online school). Outside of my Civil Engineering career; I can speak Filipino and French (I have a minor in French), love to oil paint, stay creative, as well as stay active in the realm of social justice and mental health.

I love working with kids and have tutored students from elementary through high school on a variety of subjects. I graduated from Seattle University in 2018 with a Civil Engineering Major and French Minor, and now currently work as a professional Transportation Engineer.
