I'm a recent Colorado transplant from Nashville, TN (originally from a small town in IL). I am a certified middle/elementary school educator for grades k-9. Children are my passion, and I'm convinced there isn't much in life that rates higher than a quiet morning with lots of coffee. I've traveled to over 30 countries and love to use my travels to help bring my classroom to life!
Experience
I have had the absolute honor of teaching students ranging from preschool to adulthood in nearly ten different countries. My formal experience stateside includes teaching kindergarten, fourth grade, and middle school language arts. I have spent the past five years creating and teaching curriculum in the following content areas: language arts, writing, math, science, grassroots campaigning, and social justice. Last year I even had the privilege of teaching 3rd-8th grade students in an afterschool program that culminated in a class trip to Guatemala!
