I have lived in the Pittsburgh area for 28 years. I have two grown children, one lives in Portland, OR and works for Nike and the other just finished his masters in Shanghai, China. I am a fitness trainer and love all kinds of outdoor activities. I love to travel and discover new places and new cultures. My husband and I have a sweet big black dog named Leyla.
Experience
I have tutored very successfully for 17 years both in person and on platforms like Zoom and Skype. I am excellent at demystifying even the most complicated grammar concepts, and explaining them so students can gain confidence and mastery in Spanish. I connect very well with all different kinds of students, figuring out their learning styles and motivations so I can most effectively teach them. It gives me great satisfaction to see students gain mastery in the language and meet their Spanish goals. I have many students that have even gone on to major in Spanish in college.
