Derrick C - Online Homeschool Tutor
I was born and raised in San Francisco. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a TESOL Certificate. I have experience tutoring students in Reading, Writing, and Math at an after-school program while I was in college. I currently work as a new-employee trainer for my program. I am a patient, gentle, and approachable teacher and understand that everyone learns at their own style and pace. I'm a big sports fan and I love watching superhero movies and anything Disney.
Experience
I was an after-school tutor at my local learning center while I was in college. I would assist elementary school students with their Reading, Writing, and Math homework either as a group or individually. I did my best to help develop positive attitudes towards studying and learning as well as building their self-confidence. I am currently a new-employee trainer in which I introduce them to and teach the policies and procedures of our program. I work with people of all backgrounds and do my best to make people as comfortable as possible so they can be successful.
