Hello, I'm a credentialed Teacher who has 4 1/2 years of RECENT experience teaching K-8 students (Common Core curriculum). Prior to teaching as a Homeschool Teacher, I taught at a Montessori School for 6 years. In between, I worked as a Teacher Assistant at LAUSD (Los Angeles United School District) for 2 years, thus, my cumulative classroom teaching experience is 12 1/2 years. In addition, for the past 4 1/2 years, I've been tutoring for 3 national Tutoring companies. Prior to this, I tutored teacher-referred students from September 2007 December 2015. I earned a bachelor degree in Education and minored in Psychology. I also earned 2 more undergraduate degrees in Cognitive Science (the science of the brain, learning and cognition) and Educational Psychology. Right now, I'm studying for the GRE so that I may begin matriculating in an Education masters degree program in January 2021. These are the subjects that I teach and tutor: K-12 English Language Arts K-12 Math K-12 STEM K-12 Science K-12 Social Studies, Social Sciences K-12 French K-12 ESL. Art History TEST PREP: ACT, ISEE, ELPAC During the past 13 years, I've taught and tutored Gifted, Twice Exceptional (2e), Special Ed, and General Ed students who attend elite private schools, progressive private schools, charter and public schools (COMMON CORE). Experience
